My Account

What is My Account?
Your profile section is displayed within your My Account page. This section contains contact and personal information that connects you directly to politicians in your districts. Your profile lets you manage security and personal privacy. Your information is only visible to your selected allies, and can be further marked as private for maximum discretion.

Account names
All Ballots requires that you enter your real name and discourages the use of fake names. Additionally, users can enter any Nickname, but All Ballots prohibits the use of profanity. All Ballots reserves the right to terminate user accounts if profanity is used.

Email Address
Registering with All Ballots also requires a valid email address to create your personal account. Your registered email address is used to activate the your account and request a lost or forgotten password.

How do I change my login?
Select the “Security” tab on the profile edit page to change your login email address. An email will be sent to the provided email address for validation. The new login will not take effect until you validated your email address.

How do I change my password?
You can change your password by selecting the “Security Tab” within the profile edit section.

How do I change the time zone for my account?
Your time zone information can be changed by selecting the “Time Zone” tab within the profile edit section.

How do I control information in The Pipeline?
The pipeline uses relationship with other user to channel actions taken throughout the site to keep you from having to search for information that do to the dynamics of the site it is constantly changing.

Can I stop All Ballots from sending me notifications?
Yes, you can customize your personal notifications preferences in the “Notifications” tab in the profile edit section.

Can I cancel my account?
You can cancel your account at any time by selecting the “Settings” tab within the profile edit section.

My address is not associated with the correct political districts.
Please contact us at info@allballots.com to correct the issue.

My address could not be found during registration.
For your convenience, All Ballots enables you to create an account even though your political district cannot be associated with your address during registration. All Ballots updates its address records frequently, but in the event that your address is not found, please contact us to correct this issue. Once we are able to resolve your address, then your political districts will be correctly linked.

My District
What is My District?
My District is your personalized listing of officials and candidates in your voting district. Your voting district is based upon the address you enter for your profile.

The officials and candidates listed are not the ones in my district.
First, please verify your address on file in the edit profile section. If the address is correct, but the officials and candidates listed are not associated with your address, send an email to info@allballots.com. Include the address that you are having issue with and we will be happy to look into it.

Can I delete officials and candidates listed in my district?
No, My District shows all constituent officials and candidates that are associated with your address. The My Candidates section allows you to add and remove candidates from your personal list.

Can officials and candidates send messages to me and post to my Slate?
Only candidates that you have added to My Candidates can send messages to their supporters.

What is My Candidates?
My Candidates allows you to select which officials and candidates you support. Adding candidates to your profile enables you to keep all your candidates just one click away and show all your allies who you support.

Can others view My Candidates?
Only your Allies and your Candidates can view your candidates.

My Allies
What is My Allies?
Your allies are your personal network of contacts on All Ballots. Networking with others as an allies enables you to connect to each other directly and support your candidates and issues. Your allies can view your profile, read your forums, and keep up to date with your current activity. You can view their profiles, stances, and forums, as well as exchange messages and slate posts. You can build up your network by searching the site and sending ally requests to fellow All Ballots members.

How do I become an ally with another member?
You can request to be become an ally once you have located them through our onsite search or through a mutual ally. Your request is sent to the member for their approval. Acceptance adds them to your list of allies. Please note, All Ballots gives its members the ability to deny ally requests for optimum privacy.

How do I manage my allies?
The My Allies page enables you to view and connect with all your current allies, as well as manage both your incoming and outgoing ally requests.

Why can't I view a member profile on the site?
If you cannot view a certain member's profile, you are not allies with the member. All Ballots respects your privacy and allows only your approved allies to view your profile.

My media is a way to share pictures and video with your candidates and allies. Here you can post photo galleries and YouTube video content on your profile.

Can other uses view my media?
Only your Allies and your Candidates can view your media.

My forums allows you to create, track, and participate in All Ballots discussion forums.

My Stance gives you the opportunity to post your views on various political issues and hot topics of the day.

My Messages
What is My Messages?
My Messages is the All Ballots onsite email feature. Using My Messages, you can message your allies and candidates directly without leaving the site.

Can other users access my messages inbox?
No, My Messages functions like other email accounts where only your valid login accesses your messages.

What is My Forum?
Get your voice heard using your All Ballots forum to journal, post thoughts, and keep others updated on where you stand.

Who can view my forum?
Only your Allies and your Candidates can view and post comments on your forum.

Can I make my forum public?
Yes, all forums can be made public to allow all site users to view and post comments.
